The bodyguard

On Thursday night I went to see the body guard in theatre with the family. I really enjoyed it and I was so suprised as I’ve never seen the film. Alexandra Burke played the main character and she was amazing. I never remembered her voice being so good but she defiantly ruled the stage. 

I would highly recommend going with your girlies if you like a little sing song to all the Whitney Houston songs. I didn’t think I knew many as she wasn’t really out whilst I was growing up I had just missed it.. But I knew so many. Must have been all them student nights when they put the cheesy music on that makes us loose out voice. 

Favourite music

Without a doubt rock music is the best. I don’t look like much of a rocker but I live it. Rock music just has something that other genres don’t have. 

Maybe it’s because I grew up with it.  We used to dance around the living room to it when I was younger having a laugh with my dad. Then he took me to my first concert – motley crue and they where my favourite since then. 

The lyrics within the music really touch the heart. The music comes from the heart of the artists unlike some other genres. They are mental, it’s really about sex drugs and rock and roll but that’s what makes it so amazing. They are crazy and they put in a show like no other. 

Others bands I like are Aerosmith, Def Leppard, AC/DC , guns and roses, thunder, whitesnake, kiss and Cinderella. All quality bands.

Thunder

As you can see I’ve had a very busy weekend. Last night I went to see a rock band called thunder with my dad. This was at Wembley, although I personally think they should have done Hammersmith as they arnt a huge band and Hammersmith would have sold out. 

   Our usual routine when we get to Wembley is go to the chicken shop. I normally order a chicken burger and chips and dad get chicken and chips. It’s lovely, we go there everytime and have never had any problems. 

When we got to the venue we used the vip bar. 

 These chairs where so cool. You couldn’t hear much in them though. 

  
  
After the concert we go to the sports bar which  is just over the road from wembley and have a few drinks before catching the last train home back to West Hampstead. 

  

Today’s antics

So today I am having a rest day from the gym as I plan to go for a log run tomorrow. Let’s hope this time it goes to plan. I’ve got really bored at work this week so I have started reading a book that I’ve already started. It’s an autobiography by Nikki Sixx. He is famous for being in the band motley crue and now six am. Personally though he will always be famous for motley crue as that band where amazing.

Sadly they are no more and broke up but here are some photos from there last ever tour. Possibly the best band I have ever seen live. They are just mental.

  

 
This was Probaly one of the best nights of my life so far. I’ve been to see loads of bands play always with my dad no one will take his place.
